Equipment & Capabilities
Manufacturing process stages
01 — HR Slitter: HR Slitting Line
Wide hot-rolled coil is cut lengthwise into individual narrow coils of the required widths, then inspected against customer specifications.
- Accurate slit widths
- Clean edge quality
- Tight coil winding
- Full final inspection
- Load & verify Coil lifted onto the uncoiler by overhead crane or coil car; identity, dimensions and surface condition verified before processing.
- Align Unwound at controlled speed under proper tension; entry guides and centering equipment align the strip accurately.
- Slit The slitter head's circular rotary knives cut the strip into the required widths in a single operation.
- Separate Separator discs and guides part the strands, preventing surface damage and maintaining edge quality.
- Recoil & inspect Rewound onto recoiler mandrel as narrow coils; tightness and winding monitored, then unloaded and inspected to specifications
02 — Pickling: Hydrochloric Acid Pickling Line
Mill scale, rust and surface oxides are removed to produce clean, bright and uniform steel surfaces — ready for cold rolling.
- Clean, bright surface
- Scale & oxide free
- Edge trimmed to width
- Corrosion protected
- Load & uncoil Coils are loaded and uncoiled into the line.
- Scale-break Strip is flattened and scale-broken to improve acid penetration.
- Pickle Pre-washed, pickled in HCL tanks, then thoroughly rinsed and dried.
- Finish Edge-trimmed to the required width and oiled for corrosion protection.
- Recoil & inspect Recoiled under controlled tension; surface quality, dimensions, edge condition and corrosion protection verified.
03 — CR Mill: 6HI
Pickled coil is reduced to precise gauge while gaining surface finish, dimensional accuracy, flatness and mechanical strength.
- Precise gauge control
- Superior surface finish
- Dimensional accuracy
- High mechanical strength
- Thread Coil loaded, inspected and the strip threaded through the mill.
- Clean Cleaning and rolling emulsions reduce friction and control temperature.
- Roll The six-roll stand — backup, intermediate and work rolls — reduces thickness under precisely controlled rolling forces.
- Control AGC, roll bending, intermediate roll shifting and tension control maintain consistent thickness, profile and flatness across the width.
- Recoil & QC Recoiled under controlled tension; gauge accuracy, surface, dimensions and coil integrity inspected.
04 — Annealing: Bell Annealing Furnace
Cold-rolled coil is heat-treated to restore ductility, improve formability and recover mechanical properties.
- Restored ductility
- Improved formability
- Uniform grain structure
- Stable dimensions
- Stack Coils are stacked on furnace bases.
- Seal Enclosed within a protective inner cover under a controlled nitrogen atmosphere.
- Heat A heating bell gradually raises temperature according to a predefined annealing cycle.
- Soak During soaking, recrystallization relieves cold-rolling stresses and forms a uniform grain structure.
- Cool & inspect A cooling bell cools the coils under control; hardness, ductility, surface and dimensional stability verified.
05 — Galvanizing: Continuous Hot-Dip Galvanizing Line
A durable zinc coating is metallurgically bonded to the strip — enhancing corrosion resistance and service life. The galvanized strip feeds directly into the colour-coating line for PPGI.
- Durable zinc coat
- Even coating thickness
- Corrosion resistance
- Long service life
- Clean CRFH is uncoiled and cleaned to remove residual oils and contaminants.
- Condition Heated and conditioned in a controlled atmosphere furnace, then cooled to the optimum coating temperature.
- Dip Immersed in a bath of molten zinc, forming a strong metallurgical bond between steel and zinc.
- Air-knife High-pressure air knives precisely control coating thickness and uniformity by removing excess zinc.
- Finish & Inspect Cooled and solidified, with passivation or skin-passing as required; coating weight, thickness and appearance inspected.
06 — PPGI: Colour Coating Line · PPGI
Galvanized steel is transformed into a high-performance, painted product with enhanced corrosion resistance, weather protection and lasting visual appeal.
- Vibrant colour finish
- Corrosion resistance
- Weather protection
- Low maintenance
- Clean Thorough cleaning and surface preparation removes contaminants that affect coating adhesion.
- Pretreat A chemical pretreatment improves corrosion resistance and creates an ideal surface for painting.
- Primer A primer coat is applied and cured in a controlled-temperature oven for strong bonding to the substrate.
- Coat Precision roller coaters apply topcoat and backcoat systems — PE, SMP, Unicoat or PVDF — to the required performance.
- Cure & inspect Cured, cooled and inspected for consistent coating quality, colour uniformity and surface finish.
